Năm 1919, Công ty Kurihara Kogyo được thành lập để cung cấp dịch vụ thầu Điện tại Osaka, Nhật Bản.
Năm 1942, Công ty mở rộng hoạt động kinh doanh và mở văn phòng chi nhánh tại Tokyo, Nagoya và Hiroshima. Cùng năm đó, Công ty đã tổ chức lại thành CÔNG TY TNHH KURIHARA KOGYO và chính thức đăng ký kinh doanh với Bộ xây dựng vào tháng 10 năm 1949. Các văn phòng chi nhánh khác được mở ra ở Fukuoka (năm 1950) và Kobe (năm 1955).
Vào tháng 11 năm 1955, Người sáng lập Công ty - Ông Nobutora Kurihara đã được tặng thưởng Huy chương danh dự cho các công trình công nghiệp.
Tháng 7 năm 1979, Công ty mở rộng hoạt động kinh doanh ra thế giới, với sự hình thành Công ty TNHH Kurihara Singapore mà sau đó tiếp nối bằng việc thành lập Công ty TNHH Kuriraha Kogyo (chi nhánh Singapore), Văn phòng đại diện kinh doanh tại Malaysia vào năm 1983, thành lập Công ty TNHH Kurihara Việt Nam vào tháng 5 năm 1995, Công ty TNHH Kurihara Thái Lan vào tháng 10 năm 1996, Công ty TNHH Kurihara Myanma vào tháng 12 năm 2018.
CÔNG TY TNHH KURIHARA KOGYO là Công ty hàng đầu với hơn 100 năm lịch sử trong lĩnh vực lắp đặt điện tại Nhật Bản. Theo bảng xếp hạng của Viện nghiên cứu dữ liệu xây dựng Nhật Bản, Kurihara là một trong số 10 Công ty hàng đầu trong lĩnh vực này.
